We handle your data with care. Below you can read, briefly and clearly, what we keep, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible?

SEB Digital, sole proprietorship of Sebastiaan Gorissen, Elsbrug 70, 9260 Wichelen, Belgium, enterprise number BE 1012.958.924, manages this website and the sign-ups for Marie-Rose. Questions about privacy? Email info@marierose.be.

Which data do we process?

• When you sign up: your first name, your email address, your language, the page and any campaign code (for example from a link on social media) through which you signed up, and the time and text of your consent.
• When you visit the website: anonymous visitor statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies and without following you across websites. To deliver and secure the website, Cloudflare briefly processes technical data such as your IP address. On the sign-up form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a human is filling in the form.
• When you email us: your email address and your message.

Why, and on what basis?

• To send you updates and news about Marie-Rose, including the opening date first. Basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
• To keep the website secure and working well and to prevent misuse of the form. Basis: our legitimate interest.
• To answer your emails. Basis: our legitimate interest.

Who receives your data?

We never sell or rent out your data. We work with two service providers that process your data only on our behalf:

• Resend (Resend, Inc.) for sending emails and keeping track of sign-ups.
• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) for hosting, security, Turnstile and visitor statistics.

Both companies are based in the United States. Transfers take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long do we keep your data?

• Sign-ups: for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we only keep your email address and proof of your sign-up and unsubscription, so that we do not email you again and can show that you gave consent. We keep this for a maximum of three years.
• Emails to us: for a maximum of two years after our last contact.

Your rights

You can always ask to access, correct, erase or port your data, and you can object to or ask for a restriction of the processing. You can unsubscribe in one click at the bottom of every email, or via info@marierose.be. We reply within one month.

Do you disagree with how we handle your data? Then you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only those who need it have access to the sign-ups.

Profiling and children

We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not create profiles. The newsletter is not intended for children under 13 without the consent of a parent.

If we change this policy, you will see it in the version and date at the top.
