# Cookie policy

**In short:** we do not use cookies to track you, for advertising or to build profiles. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.

## Visitor statistics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies and does not follow you across other websites.

## Strictly necessary techniques

Some things are needed to keep the website secure. They do not require consent:

| Turnstile | Cloudflare | Checking that a human is filling in the sign-up form. Only loaded with the form. | While filling in the form |
| `mr-lang-dismissed` (local storage) | marierose.be | Remembering that you dismissed the language suggestion. Only stored when you click it yourself. | Until you clear your browser data |

## If that ever changes

If we later use cookies for statistics or advertising, we will ask for your consent first. Refusing will then be as easy as accepting, and you can always change your choice.

## Managing it yourself

You can always clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
